Thai Village Cuisine

Does anyone know of a good Thai restaurant in San Antonio?

Preferably in the northeast part of town. Anything within walking distance of the Riverwalk? Thanks!

3. There is an awesome restaurant about 1 mile from where my parents live. It's called: Thai Palace 20323 Huebner San Antonio, TX 78258 (210) 497-8208 It's inside Stone Oak. Go north on Stone Oak Pkwy and turn right onto Huebner it's on the right side. It's sooooo good. I go all the time.

5. Try Thai Pikul at 5136 Fredericksburg Road. To me, it is authentic as can be as I am from Asia and it's as close to Asia as can be.
6. Kevin has mentioned the Thai Palace on Huebner, his information is accurate about the restaurant, I eat there at least once per week. However, they have changed their name to Thai Cafe (North Central SA)and are associated with another Thai Cafe in Northeast SA at 11318 Perrin-Beitel. 599-8830 Sompong's mentioned by ffperki is also very good and I have eaten there quite often when I had an office in the Medical Center Area. (North Central to Northwest SA) My favorite is Thai Kitchen. It is at 445 McCarty, off San Pedro north of Loop 410. (North Central SA) Their number is 541-0282 There is also a Thai Kitchen on the River at 100 Villita St. Thai Kitchen was one of the top choices in the Express News Readers Best Restaurant List (Thai Restaurant) (Downtown) The other readers selections (I have not been to either) Tong's Thai 1146 Austin Hwy (Northeast SA) 829-7345 Thai Taste 5520 Evers Road (Northwest SA) 520-6800 The SA Express News Critic's Choice for Best Thai Restaurant was a tie: Bangkok Cuisine 8214 Pat Booker Road (Northeast SA) 599-8884 Sawasdee Thai Cuisine 6407 Blanco Rd (North Central SA) 979-9110 I hope this helps.
