Thai Village Cuisine

Where in Chicago can I find a good Thai restaurant?

I live near the Tri-Taylor/UIC area in Chicago and I have been trying to find a good Thai restaraunt and I can't seem to find one. I have tried a few and was very dissapointed. If anyone knows of a really good one, please let me know. Thank you.

  1. Neither one of them are in your neighborhood, but my two favorite Thai restaurants in Chicago are: Once Upon a Thai (3705 N Southport Ave, just south of Irving Park) and Joy's (3257 N Broadway St, Chicago, just north of Melrose). I still make a point to visit one or the other whenever I'm in town.
  2. Oak Brook Mall, its soooo good. I forgot the name of it, but its the only Thai resturant there. This is a very upscale mall, not your average mall. it's located in Oak Brook, IL, about 20 minutes outside downtown chicago.
  3. I believe you're in the South Loop/Near South area. I'm in California now and have been for the past 33 years. Enjoying my spring how about you? Don't write back I know your answer. There are two 5* Thai rest's in the area. My Thai @ 333 S. State St Opart Thai House @1906 S State St. @ Archer Ave I hope that helps and if it doesn't you still have White Castle
