What is the Thai food that is sorta like a deep fried sweet & sour chicken?

We ate at a Thai place in Florida, and my kids ordered a chicken dish that was skinny, almost curls of chicken that had been deep fried and had a sauce all over it. Any ideas of what this may have been?
