How to cook Thai food?

For dinner I'll be making sticky basmati rice, Green Curry and Miso Soup. Any tips on cooking Thai food? This will be my first time. Only Asian thing I've done before was sautéing bok choy with spices, which turned out perfect. Yes, Miso is Japanese... I'm doing an Asian mix 'cause I'm crazy like that. ^-^ So, yeah... basically just asking about the Curry. I would think it'd be a hard dish to do. I'm not sure. I didn't get to these responses before I did the curry. (I skipped the miso for another time.) It came about nearly perfect, actually. And I have plenty ingredients left to do green curry again (better next time), so I'll be sure to come here. Thanks to all for answering!

  4. How about a nice Chicken Tikka or Tandoori Chicken instead of cooked garbage on a plate with dead fish and red hot chile peppers?
  5. pad thai! use clear noodles and pan fry it with tofu eggs and chicken/shrimp. and bean sprouts. peanut suace.
  6. Miso soup will not go well with green curry. There is no ONE specific way of cooking Thai food in general . It is about what dish you are preparing and you follow the direction of preparation for that dish. Green curry? Usually there will be a direction on how to cook the green curry on the curry paste packet. Just follow the direction.
