Which is the better Thai hotel resto...Spice Market by Four Seasons or Celadon by The Sukhothai? What are the specialties of both restaurants? Thanks!

whats your favorite asain restaurant style dish? including chinese japanese thai....etc.? the best one ive had is from a local thai restaurant called thai smile, its called Pineapple-Tangerine Chicken. Its SOOOO good, you can get it with fried or white rice...i always choose white. and put soy sauce on the rice. I've never seen the dish on any other menu so it must be a local specialty. its like heaven. but i also enjoyed other dishes such as.. orange chicken, general tso's chicken was very tasty. ( i always get chicken meals cause i feel pork and/or beef are very unhealthy. and shrimp/seafood just doesnt seem to go well with the sauces and spices they use in their cuisine.).. I've never tried any currys i really should though.... oh and chicken fried rice was good. i over did it with the soy sauce though and ruined it the first time i had it lol. but whats some of your fav foods from asain style restaurants???

What Thai spices are used to make Fiery Shrimp? I had this in a restaurant in Los Angeles years ago. You eat the seasoned shrimp wrapped in small lettuce leaves.

recipe for thai beef salad please??? I'm addicted to the thai beef salad from my favorite thai restaurant, but i have no idea exactly what spices/seasonings are put into it. Everything else I see is obvious, but what is used to season everything???

Dilemma: My extra hot thai food dish was extra extra extra extra hot....should i complain? I usually order Thai Green Curry with chicken as Hot. You have to realize that the green curry is still green but with more red spice. It's very hot don't me wrong. Today I ordered it extra hot expecting a bit more red, but still retaining that green curry flavor. When I got it, it was all RED!! I ate a bit of it but even I could not handle it. I really didn't expect that deep red color. I think someone in the kitchen went overboard. Now, I love this restaurant because they have the best thai around. Should I say something to them hoping for a replacement, or keep quiet and just order it just HOT next time? thanks for your input. just a note: it was carry out.

Thai chicken pasta recipe from Zio's? can anyone tell me where I can find a recipe for Thai Chicken Pasta recipe that you would get from Zio's Italian Restaurant? That is my fav dish at my fav restaurant, but as usual, I can only afford to go there one on a blue moon. But I really LOVE that dish, and would like to make it at home. What makes Indian food so hot (spicy)? It's not like the spice in Mexican or Chinese/Thai foods. It's a completely different kind of heat. Does anyone know the type of spice they use? I know all the regular (not hot) spices, such as Cumin, etc., but can't figure out what kinds of peppers (or otherwise) they use. In this one local Indian restaurant, they ask how hot you want it, from 1 to 10. I usually get an 8. I ask them about the spice, and they just don't seem to understand. Thank you!

What is the spiciest type of food? My friend and I have a competition. We go to a restaurant, order the spiciest thing on the menu, and tell the chef to make it as spicy as he can. If my friend can eat the whole dish, I pay for his dinner. However, he is very very good at eating spices (he eats red hot chili peppers whole). So he can easily handle the spiciest American, Chinese, and Mexican foods. My question is - what cuisines are spicier? How can I stump him? I know that Indian and Thai food can be quite spicy. Are there any others? Which ones are the spiciest?

Hello there, I was looking for any nice recipes for Bhutan rice, or any sort of curried, masala sauce I could put over chicken or serve over jasmine rice. I would appreciate it a lot. There are no Indian-food restaurants within about 3.5 hours of where I live, and would love be able to at least make some. I have also had some similar Thai dishes made with a similar effect to an Indian dish before, which was lovely. I have a large array of spices so at lease that is not an issue. I have tried some recipes before, but would really like some ones on making common sauces or dishes for my husband and I. Thank you greatly.

are there any somalian restaurants in new york city or thfive boroughs? i am half somalian girl i love my countries food but i can nit find the spices to make somalian food or the restaurant and ethopian and indian food is simalar but not the same its like thai food and chinese food it just is not the same please help

Could this be a food allergy? I have horrible seasonal allergies. But last week I ate at an Indian restaurant and had a full on allergy attack. Then yesterday I had some Thai food and had another attack. Not long go I remember eating at a Vietnamese restaurant and same thing. My symptoms are itchy, watery eyes, sneezing and wheezing and my nose itches so bad that I swear I almost tear it off my face. It is horrible and generally takes a day or more to go away. My seasonal allergies are the same symptoms -- but it seems to be food setting me off now... perhaps a particular spice?? Anyone have any idea??
